All volunteers (project basis, fixed period or regular basis) are welcome to join the Museum's enrichment programmes that are designed to enrich one's knowledge and interests in history, heritage and culture. These include curatorial lectures, public talks and forums, lifestyle workshops, performances and film screenings.
Regular basis Hosts/Facilitators will further be invited to National Museum seminars, conferences, workshops and programmes for opportunities to learn and network with one another. Invitations to selected previews, curatorial gallery walkthroughs and exhibition launches allow all to have a first hand tour of current exhibitions and programmes at the National Museum and/or relevant organisations. Special enrichment programmes organised every month seek to expose and bring the regular volunteers on field trips to other museums, heritage sites and places that will enrich their knowledge and awareness. Skills development workshops will also be organised to provide the needed techniques to improve and enhance their current levels of proficiency. Social gatherings for all Hosts/Facilitators are also held to promote a strong network of museum volunteers.
